Yeah!!!!! I had chicken and fish again yesterday and cooked myself some asparagus for dinner for the first time. I still didn't really enjoy the fish, but look at the results.
I think I have a friend here who is finally convinced that this is working and she might like to try it as well in the spring. It would be great to have some one local to talk to as well as the great folks I talk to and follow on blogs.
The 170's are in sight!

I hear you on the fish. I've never really cared for fish. It's okay when it's breaded and fried, but what we're allowed to do?
But I did find one way it wasn't too bad--if you like garlic. In the morning I marinated my fish in minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian spices, plus a little paprika for more zip. And water, of course. I rubbed the spices in well before letting it marinate. I sauted the fish in the marinade, and I was happy with the flavor.
By the way, did you like the asparagus? That's another thing I've never been able to stomach.
I like the fish we can't have, of course. I will try your seasoning method next week when I get some more fish for the home stretch - my last injection day is October 30th. Thanks for the tip!
I like asparagus. However, when I cook it I do it in a pan with butter, garlic and wine. For this I steamed it with water, garlic and wine. I seasoned it with salt and pepper on my plate and really liked it. If you don't like asparagus, this may not be enough to make it palatable.
