I just couldn't take it anymore. I was so hungry and unhappy yesterday. It's probably immunity setting in, because I've never felt so hungry on this protocol. Not once. I had an extra egg yolk yesterday and that seemed to help, but I was still hungry all day.

I'll log back in a little later and recap the major accomplishments of this round. I'm sorry to end early, but it's really time to stop.

Well, I doubt I'll see the 150's by next Saturday, but you never know. I'm a little disappointed in this round, but I'll be within 20 lbs of my goal weight. 20 lbs is so much easier than 60.

I look a ton better and feel great. I'm also very ready for this to be over. I'll stick it out for any additional weight I can drop, not to mention inches, but I'm ready.

I've been working for a friend during my works shutdown and had several after work obligations that have left me almost no time for updates. Sorry.

Yesterday was .2 lbs down and today was .7 down. Better.

My LIW will be next Saturday, Feb 21st. There is still a chance for me to hit the 150's, but I'm not going to worry about it. Whatever I lose from here on out will be fine.

There will be daily updates from here on out.

Not much weight loss, but I'm still going in the right direction. More than 20 lbs down and less than 8 lbs from a healthy BMI weight.

I've not got much time left, so I'm trying to make the most of it.

Sorry about not posting yesterday. I'm helping out a friend this week while I'm off and expected I'd have time while at his shop to get on line and update. No dice.

Anyway, it was a .3 lb gain yesterday and I'm sure it was the high sodium chicken broth in the chicken curry. I'm throwing away the rest of the servings and starting again. No big deal - water retention just masks the work the body is doing anyway.

I'll catch up with everyone tonight. I'm going back to my friend's shop really early today.

Whatever. I knew this wasn't going to be a good number. I knew it when I went to bed. So, again, whatever.

My losses are really different this round than last round. Last round I lost every day unless I ate something that didn't agree with me (cabbage). This time it appears to be tiny plateaus, a big loss, stir, then repeat. That's OK, but it's very different.

My inches took a big jump today. My waist, hips and thighs are starting to really show the losses. That's great as that is where I carry most of the extra weight.

Wow! I knew it would be at least a pound due to weighing myself last night and being under my morning weight at bedtime, but I never expected this. I weighed myself three times this morning and did a little happy dance before I got dressed.

Two more weeks - I had two goals when I started this round:

1. Size 8 jeans - right now I'm comfortably in 10's.
2. Weight somewhere in the 150's.

I had been preparing myself mentally for less than what I wanted, but I think both are possible now.

As far as the eggs go, I may or may not do them. Dr. Simeons does talk about using eggs for protein, but it wasn't his first choice. I may just stick it out.

I AM IN THE 160's! I haven't been here since early 2005. I am thrilled.

No more experiments. If it isn't in P&I, I'm not touching it for the next two weeks. That said, I will try eggs this weekend at some point.

I'm doing a little experiment today - I ate 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil this morning. It helps some people release more on Phase 2. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

I'm pleased with the number today as I didn't get to the gym and didn't get in as much water as I wanted due to an eye doctor appt, dilated eyes and a severe headache. Went to bed quite early.

I AM DUMB. I got up today in a bit of a rush and forgot my fruit serving in my packed lunch. I forgot my supplements and, most importantly, I forgot my shot. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU FORGET YOUR SHOT ON THIS DIET????

Anyway, I wasn't going home until quite late tonight, but will be making special trip to get my 1/2 grapefruit, vitamins and my HCG this afternoon.

On a lighter note, I went to a Superbowl party last night and resisted everything. It wasn't as easy as last round, but it wasn't that hard either. I got lots of compliments on my figure as well.

Oh, and I'm finally in a pair of size 10 jeans that I bought three years ago and never got to wear. I'm very excited.

I'll say it again - anything I lose from here on out is gravy.

I'm so glad TOM is almost over. Last week was a bit of a downer.

I'm having a hard time stomaching the apple cider vinegar I was doing daily at the beginning and will not be doing that everyday now. I will keep going to the gym as much as I can as I am sure that is helping.

My inches didn't change much this week either. However, my overall inches lost since the start of round 1 are almost 20 inches. Can't argue with that.

I didn't post yesterday because I was legitimately busy at work and because I had gained .8 overnight. I was so disappointed. Check out the daily stat summary on the side bar.

It was my second day of no shot due to TOM and I wasn't very hungry or very thirsty yesterday. I ate my strawberries and my chicken at lunch and then nothing until dinner where I only ate my london broil. I forced liquids to keep the right quantity even though I really didn't want it as much as usual.

I think the chicken broth I used two nights ago to heat up chicken and spinach for dinner had enough salt to make me retain water. No more of that for the duration.

My weekly averages after three weeks are:

Week one: 4.5 lbs net (8.6 including load)
Week two: 6 lbs
Week three: 3.2 lbs (TOM)
Average: 4.6 lbs per week

Not bad so far. I'd like to get the momentum going again. If I do at least as well as last round I will be in the 150's before this is over.

Yeah!!!! I've only lost 2 lbs in the last six days, so getting up today to 1.1 lbs down is really nice. No shot today or tomorrow. I'll see how I feel about it on Saturday. I've been taking Sundays off to stave off immunity, but won't this week since I'm doing that now for TOM.

Any weight I lose from here through Feb 21st is gravy. Obviously, I want to maximize and will be disappointed if I don't reach at least the 150's, but it's all good. I feel good and I'm looking better. What more is there?

I can't really argue with 11.1 lbs net in 14 days, either. And, I'm right around my course 1 last injection weight which could be slowing me a bit.

Alright. The buffalo is out. The Sea Bass is out as well. I am throwing the last servings of both away and going back to chicken and beef. I might do some shrimp next week.

I could barely make myself eat the fish for lunch yesterday. This diet is restrictive enough without making yourself eat things you don't want.

Oh, well. You can't lose weight like that every day.

I did have a buffalo steak for the first time yesterday. I have two more servings, so we'll see how it goes.

I also had jury duty yesterday and took the bus home after I was dismissed. I got off the bus a little too soon and turned a 1/2 mile walk into a 3/4 or more mile walk up a steep hill in heels. I was sore this morning - legs and chest. So we could have a little water retention here.

I am a worrier by nature and I'm trying to teach myself to relax. Just relax.

I'm thrilled with my losses this week. I think the walking, new tea and vinegar are really helping me.

I am finding that I dream and daydream about coffee and other foods still. Maybe it's because this is not new and I know how fun it is to get to the post-HCG phase. I'm not tempted to cheat, but I'm privately more envious and annoyed at people eating things that I am not.

One downer note, I'm losing hair like there is no tomorrow. Thankfully, I have enough hair for a couple of people, but I don't like it.

WOW!! I did nothing different or special yesterday. The only change was having a cup of Smooth Move tea right before bed. That definitely worked and my weight this morning is a testament.

I am now back in the 170's and at the top end of the acceptable weight range from course 1 of HCG. Onward and downward.

I was disappointed when I got on the scale. However, I went back to my course 1 data and saw a complete drag in week 2 there as well. There were two days were I lost .2 lbs and then .1 lbs in a row.

I will be watching everything today and hoping for something better tomorrow.

Hey, .4 is still going in the right direction and I bet my measurements are better already!

.8 lbs overnight is a good loss and I have nothing to complain about, but I was hoping to get to the 170's before we started the less-than-a-pound-a-day thing.

I think there are several things involved here:

1. I don't think you can sustain 1+ pound weight losses daily for the duration.
2. I worked at a booth in the convention center most of the day yesterday, so my access to and intake of water were limited. (Bathroom access was an issue, too.)
3. I didn't get to take my walk yesterday.
4. I forgot to take my apple cider vinegar yesterday.
5. The chili I made might be slowing my progress.

Now, I'm not working today and will get my walk. I've already taken my vinegar and will make sure I get the right amount of water earlier in the day. I'm eating the chili because I made 5 servings of it and it's good.

I made beef chili tonight using a recipe from the HCG dieters group which I modified to suit me. We'll see how that looks on the scale tomorrow.

I am not sleeping as well as I did the last time. Nor am I waking up as easily. It's OK, but it is very different.

I am not having any issues so far and am keeping my water intake way up, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar each day, and a 30 to 40 minute walk.

I wasn't very hungry yesterday and I drank at least 3/4 of a gallon of water and tea. The only thing I found interesting about the whole day was that I found myself craving coffee with cream (one of my biggest vices). Occasionally, I would find my mind wandering to what I could have for a snack - I figure this week will be the hardest for that. It wasn't hard to resist, but I'm afraid I'll forget and stick something in my mouth before I catch myself.

Side note - Even though I gained over 10 lbs during my break, I gained less than three inches from my lowest measurements.

I'm going to the gym as many days as I can manage and doing 30 - 45 minutes on the treadmill. I'm not letting my heart rate get up - I'm just moving. I feel like this will help with the daily average, but only time will tell.

OK - I lost .5 lbs on my last load so I'm a little freaked out by the 4 lbs gain this time. I know this is normal and will drop quickly, but I'm uneasy right now. That can't help either. I'm on VLCD starting today, so tomorrow should look very different.

I knew this wouldn't be good when I woke up feeling bloated. On the brighter side, I woke up totally awake and refreshed - a nice side-effect of HCG injections. Today is the last load day and tomorrow starts the VLCD. I can't wait.

Oh, well. I was going to be great and start this round at 177.0 or there abouts. I can't worry about that anymore. I start at 187 and don't look back.

I've had eggs and hamburgers with french fries today. I will go to the gym, drink a lot of water and eat more.
